The Vedbæk finds are on loan from the Danish National Museum. In groundbreaking excavations from the 1970’s archaeologists discovered ancient settlements and graves on the shores of the Stone Age Fjord that once cut deeply into the coast where the town of Vedbæk now overlooks the Sound.
The archaeological finds are of international importance because it has given great insight into human life and society in Stone Age Northern Europe.
It is possible to book a guided tour.
